Planned Parenthood Kills More Babies in Abortions as Prenatal Services Drop 67%

Planned Parenthood is an abortion business. That’s it. That’s who Planned Parenthood is an what Planned Parenthood does.

The Planned Parenthood abortion business released its newest annual report that shows it killed more babies in abortions in 2022-2033 than ever before. But the figures also show Planned Parenthood did less of what it and politicians who support it claim it actually does — women’s health care.

“Between 2022 and 2023, preventive-care visits fell by 31.0 percent, pap tests fell by 13.5 percent, cancer screenings fell by 1.4 percent, and adoption referrals fell by 4.5 percent,” according to an analysis from Professor Michael New of Catholic University of America. “All of this is consistent with Planned Parenthood’s long-term trend of performing more abortions and providing fewer health services. In fact, in the past ten years, the number of abortions performed by Planned Parenthood has increased by 20 percent. Meanwhile, cancer screenings fell by more than 58 percent, and prenatal services declined by more than 67 percent.”

New says these numbers are proof that Planned Parenthood is an abortion business, not a women’s health care clinic.

“Planned Parenthood wants to be viewed as a health-care provider and not an abortion clinic. Their spokespeople frequently cite the misleading statistic that abortion represents only 3 percent of Planned Parenthood’s services,” he said. “However, these annual reports provide a much different — and more much accurate — narrative. Planned Parenthood continues to perform more abortions while providing fewer health-care services.”

Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins agrees.

“Planned Parenthood can’t get its story straight, after loudly crying crocodile tears since the end of Roe v. Wade, the nation’s number one abortion vendor is quietly raking in more money and ending more lives in the last two years. And their anti-baby business now includes sterilizing, sex altering treatments ensuring that more people than ever before will never hold a child of their own,” Hawkins added.

What do the numbers all mean? For New, they mean Planned Parenthood should be defunded.

“This is helpful information as pro-lifers continue our efforts to defund Planned Parenthood at both the state and the federal levels,” he said.

Hawkins added: “Any politicians trying to argue that abortion is not federal isn’t paying attention. But to take that approach, Congress should pledge to defund and debar Planned Parenthood as well as denounce their attacks on state law, as well as other countries’ respect for life.”
